Would be wanting them to match what got paid for Luke Shaw. Otherwise no deal.
If it did happen, would go all out for that Ake currently at Watford (Chelsea loanee?).

No point selling him for £10m.
We paid around £4m and he's only getting to bet better, plus he is hardly ever injured and very consistent.
£20m may be too hard to reject as we could get a new striker and that is more of a key position.

Agree with that. Our best left back since Dicks but he, not often enough anyway mixes it up.
Still improving though and this season will see the making of him. He is going to mature into the best English lb in the league over the next couple of seasons, love him

Cresswell has been a PL ever present since joining apart from one game recently, that being Southampton. I'm sure if we had been doing well Hendrie may have got the shout, but it was an important game and helped to turn our 5 game drawing run into a 3 game winning run.

unless the player wants to go we shouldn't be looking to sell. Having said that, completely ridiculous offers are hard to refuse and every player ultimately has a price.

Incidentally, surprised Hendrie hasn't had some kind of lookin especially with Cresswell out, we could have a perfect potential lined up should the absurdly high bid come in & we wouldn't know it.
Thought Wolves could have been a good time to have seen.. with Cresswells great run of games he may not get another chance especially drawing (most likely) LFC in the cup

Cough - I'm not saying he never does it, which is why I used the word 'rareIy' I think he lacks confidence to do it when defending deep, probaby worrying that he could fuck up in a dangerous area..

A flaw I have noticed in Cresswells game is that he is not confident drifting inside towards the middle of the park on his instep to move away from a player, even if he is on his left foot. So if a close by opponent shows him the inside he will rarely accelerate into that space and move away, instead he attempts a full swivel to get on the outside of the player and go down the line instead. or squares it to a defender.

I love how some on here use an example of one player being massively over priced as the guide to what our players are worth.
It's as ridiculous as saying that as Payet cost us £10 then Cresswell must be worth a lot less than that.
